On June 17, 2025, the AIR Centre, which promotes Atlantic research through its International PhD Scholarship Programme, organized a dynamic meeting with 30 international PhD students whose research addresses critical challenges for the Atlantic Ocean and its coastal regions. Among them, PhD candidate Pedro Nascimento presented his thesis entitled “Development of aquaculture technology for the Azorean limpet species: life cycle, culture systems and feeding”, supervised by Mirko de Girolamo and João Gonçalves from the University of the Azores, carried out within the framework of the ACUICONECTA project.
